The large bell now in the cupola above the "Bird Cage" was donated by Col. C.O. Clark in 1925. It was intended for emergencies only, to summon help in the event of a fire. There is, however, no record of its having been tested, and its usefulness was superceded with the installation of the telephone.

The bronze tablet in the Trophy Room is the main source of information regarding the members’ war record, and it refers only to World War 1. The names of ninety-one members are listed as having served in some capacity in the armed forces, and of these, eight paid the supreme sacrifice.

It is a particular source of pride that two members, Col. W.K. Clark-Kennedy, V.C., CMG, DSO and Dr. F.A. Scrimger, V.C. were awarded the Victoria Cross for gallantry.

The donation of the large electric clock on the front of the clubhouse by Mr. Harold Soper in 1956 has been very much appreciated. In the other gable of the clubhouse is a carved plaque depicting an Indian Head which is the club crest. This was a gift from Mr. Harry Pearson.
